Trophy Sports Club offers the following spring youth sports:<\/h3>\n

  • Flag Football<\/strong> (K-1st boys & girls, 2nd-4th boys & girls, 5th-8th boys & girls)<\/li>\n
  • Coach-pitch softball<\/strong> (2nd-4th girls, 5th-8th girls, 2nd-4th boys, 5th-8th boys)<\/li>\n
  • T-Ball<\/strong> (K-1st girls, K-1st boys)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Locations:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Entire season at\u00a0Washtenaw Christian Academy (7200 Moon Rd., Saline).<\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a06\/23 rain date\u00a0at Wall Park (7401 Platt Rd., Ypsilanti).<\/p>\n

    Dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Seven Saturdays from 5\/5 thru 6\/16 with one rain date, 6\/23, if needed.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Note that we plan to meet on Memorial Day weekend (Saturday 5\/26).<\/em><\/p>\n

    \n<\/em>T-ball (boys & girls separate):\u00a0 K-1st boys, K-1st girls<\/em><\/p>\n

    Cost:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0$30\/player for 1 sport; $50\/player for 2 sports.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0In addition, we plan to have an optional (not required) Trophy Sports Club fundraiser.<\/em><\/p>\n

    Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Flag football: \u00a0no contact\/blocking; coach quarterback for younger boys.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Softball: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 coach pitch (slow pitch); a tee will be used if needed; no striking out.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0T-ball: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0no striking out; small teams in order to maximize at\u00a0bats &\u00a0maintain interest.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0A goal for all of our sports: All players play all the time (small team sizes, no subs).<\/em><\/p>\n

    Equipment:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Cleats (non metal only) strongly recommended for all players.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Mitt & cap needed for t-ball\/softball.<\/p>\n

    General Format:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Week 1…….. Clinic, skills & drills; player assessments (teams assigned after week 1).<\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Week 2-7….. Brief team practice followed by game.<\/p>\n

    Family Support:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Parents & older youth are encouraged to help out (e.g., setup, coaching, or concessions).<\/p>\n
